Our Service Department
We operate a certified Case IH service shop which consists of more than 14,000 square feet of service area. Our technicians are factory-trained, carry certification, and have the experience necessary to properly diagnose and handle your farm equipment repairs. Our Service Department staff has over 170 years of combined experience.
Chris Baker, our Service Manager, has been with Hergott Farm Equipment since the mid-1980’s. His knowledge and understanding of customers’ needs makes Chris a valuable member of the Hergott team.
Bruce Thiemann, our Assistant Service Manager, is well-trained and qualified to answer all of your service-related questions.
Cathy Wickenhauser is another member of the Service Department.
To serve your repair requirements, our service facility features:
- Over $200,000 of specialty tooling
- Eight (8) bay areas equipped with overhead hoists
- Fully-equipped engine rebuilding including diesel injector reconditioning, cylinder head valve & seat resurfacing on-site
- A&W and M&W dynamometer-equipped
- EST (Electronic Service Tool) laptop-equipped (always kept up-to-date with the latest software subscriptions and equipped to diagnose or load software in the latest control modules (GPS, light bars, 8.3L and 9.0L electronic engines, just to mention a few applications)
Should you require your equipment transported, we are outfitted with two delivery trucks to ensure quick pick up and delivery of your equipment. We understand the need for quick and reliable service.
